We complete Individual Care Plan and Life History to assess each resident’s needs and fully understand his or her background. Then, our team members create an activities program, including a range of events designed to preserve function, promote enjoyment and a sense of well-being. The Navigator Memory Enrichment Program is for those residents who are not quite ready for the secured Alzheimer’s and dementia environment but need a little more guidance.
It is designed specifically for those with mild cognitive impairment. Residents continue to live in their residences, dine in the Westmont™ of Cypress dining room, and enjoy ability-centered activities in a group setting. The program not only promotes mind and body fitness, it also strengthens self-esteem and confidence.
